In one of the biggest weeks in the small cap advanced materials company’s history, First Graphene (ASX:FGR) is speaking two international conferences, as well as launching a new graphene information hub.
At a Glance
- First Graphene will speak at conferences in Noosa and London this week
- The company’s chairman and CTO will update investors and customers on technical progress
- Follows the company’s first shipment of products earlier this week after obtaining regulatory approval
Over the next two days, First Graphene will communicate its progress to investors and customers at the Noosa Mining and Exploration Investor Conference in Australia and the CNPComp2019 scientific conference in London.
That follows the launch of firstgraphene.net, a new globally-focused website that will serve as both an information hub for graphene’s tremendous potential, and a home for the company’s products.
The news caps off an impressive period for First Graphene, which in the words of chairman Warwick Grigor has moved from “concept to commercial reality”.
First Graphene started sales of its PureGRAPH range of graphene powders this week, shipping products to customers in Australia and Europe, following the receipt of crucial regulatory approvals in both continents.
“This is what everyone has been waiting for,” chairman Warwick Grigor said. “There has been a backlog of customers wanting to commence purchasing with us and now we have the approvals we can get on with the job.”
Grigor is presenting a business update to investors at the Noosa conference tomorrow, while Andy Goodwin, FGR’s chief technology officer, is delivering a technology and scientific update at the London conference today.

About First Graphene
First Graphene (ASX:FGR) is an ASX-listed advanced materials company seeking to position itself in the lowest cost quartile of global graphene suppliers.
It has developed an environmentally sound and safe method of converting its supplies of ultra-high grade graphite into the lowest cost highest quality graphene, in bulk quantities.
In so doing First Graphene is addressing the three greatest impediments to the commercialisation of graphene, being reliable quality at realistic prices in sufficient volumes to facilitate the development of applications in modern materials, energy storage devices, coatings and polymers.
