Board and Management
Peter Wall is a lawyer with a wide range of experience in all forms of mergers and acquisitions, including takeovers and schemes of arrangement. He has advised on numerous successful IPOs and back door listings on the ASX.
He also specialises in corporate reconstructions and recapitalisations of listed entities, acting as principal or adviser to the transaction. His other core areas of practice include energy and resources, capital markets, corporate and strategic advice, securities law, commercial law and contract law.
Wall is a Partner at leading Australian law firm Steinepreis Paganin, as well as being a non-executive director of numerous ASX-listed companies.
Jeremy Read is a seasoned minerals resource industry executive who has worked on a range of precious and base metals projects in Australia, Africa, North America, India and Scandinavia.
He played critical roles in the discovery of the Kabanga North nickel deposit in Tanzania, the Cairn Hill magnetite-copper deposit in South Australia and the Boseto Copper deposit in Botswana. He is skilled in developing new technical teams, the management of technical and specialist service groups, project generation activities, risk management and multi-commodity mineral exploration.
Since 2003 Jeremy has concentrated on developing junior mineral resource companies, creating and capturing value for shareholders. He has been the Managing Director of four ASX-listed resource companies: Discovery Metals, Meridian Minerals, Avalon Minerals and MinQuest Limited. Jeremy is a Member of The Australasian Institute of Mining and Metallurgy (“AusIMM’”).
Matthew has over 20 years’ experience as a finance professional in Australia, Asia and the United States.
He is currently the CFO of an ASX-listed mining company and has been CFO of a range of other ASX, TSX and HKEx-listed companies.
Matthew is a company director of a main board TSX listed business (TSX:AZZ). He is also a director of a private Australian mining company, owned by Deutsche Asset Management, which holds the Browns Oxide project in Batchelor in the Northern Territory.
Ian Wallace has a long career in mining, project development and exploration across base and precious metals, coal and coal seam gas.
Ian has held business, commercial and stakeholder engagement management positions with a number of junior, mid-tier and global resource companies for over 17 years as well as a further 10 years with BHP and five years with Anglo American.
Ian intimately understands the benefits that flow from partnering with Indigenous people, property owners and the communities in which exploration and mining is being undertaken. Ian has negotiated many joint ventures, project sales and acquisitions across a mix of resource projects and has concluded many successful transactions with government, optimising resource project development outcomes for the companies he has worked for.
